A Stroll down Memory Lane, Yours now!!

OK, so I am now playing this from our good friends: the Bentleys!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that we have had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! You don't need to have an account to post a response...you just need to pick anonymous and leave the comment!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about one of us, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Well, what to write! I remember the great lessons Brian used to give! He really knew how bring the spirit by teaching well and sincerely welcoming all comments! Thanks again for those!

I also remember all the help you gave us when we were moving. Coming over at a moment's notice to help us pack, bringing pizza for lunch, letting Lizzy and I stay at your place the night before we left so Ryan could sleep, and just being great friends!

We love and miss you guys!

How can I just pick one memory? I'll pick the one where you just had Carl, by c-section, and you were completely drugged out. We saw you for a brief moment after you saw Carl, and you were so cute. "Isn't he beeeeautiful?" and "I'm soooooo haaaapy," were a couple of things you proclaimed. I know now that you don't even remember those precious first moments with your baby.

I also remember you with your severely broken toe, and us making you hike the Grand Canyon with it. The trip to Chattanooga and the little "cruise" we took.

Going to the temple to see you and Brian sealed. You coming all the way to Greenville to introduce me to motherhood.

So many, many memories. We'll be making more in Ireland in a coupla years!

Hey guys!
Of course we have lots of great memories of you. You were definitely the best landlords we ever had. :) I remember when we first got to know you and you invited us over for dinner and to watch The Tick. We have a lot of good memories from Athens.

It looks like you have had a busy summer already. Good news about finding new renters. I know that can be stressful. Oh and sorry about everything that has been going on lately at Sir Scott. I hope that settles down soon! We miss you guys!

Let's see ...

How about the time you invited us over to play games? There's too many of those to identify just one. :)

Or the St. Patrick's Day dinner that Marie cooked for all of us with traditional Irish dishes. Yummy!

Or the time you watched our girls for us and all of you made tie-die bags and hats, which they still use all of the time.

Or the time we went tubing down the river in Helen and celebrated Rick's and Brian's B-Days.

What fun! We look forward to many more memories!

I think it's pretty funny that you got engaged before us and we were married a week before you. :)
We came to your reception all nice and tan from our cruise and Brian said, "Jill, I can't believe you got any sun at all. I figured you'd be inside the room the entire cruise!"
Hilarious.
We are just a handful of the "old-timers" in Athens.
