The Beginnings

So I am taking my very good friends advice and starting my own Blog. Brian says that now I am never going to leave the computer. I think this is a great way to keep in touch with friends, or really an easy way for friends to know what is happening in my life.

Right now life is like everyone else's: very busy!

And of course, I always add more and more to my calender. One fun thing I am doing right now is taking a monthly beginner quilting class. I am really enjoying learning how to piece quilt, except that I am a procrastinator and don't the homework until right before the next class.

Carl is doing well in school and has begun piano lessons. He is doing well, and the best thing is that his writing has greatly improved. He may be gifted, but he had the worst handwriting (a battle I should have fought a long time ago and totally chickened out of doing)!

Brian is doing great as well. He loves it at Jefferson High School teaching math.

We are all looking forward to summer and the break we will get. (yea, right!)
